Gazpromneft-Lubricants, the operator of the Gazprom Neft lubricant business, has signed the partnership agreement on cooperation in lubricant production with Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI), a part of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, one of the largest global oil corporations.
KPI is specialized on the development and production of lubricants and has 3 blending facilities. KPI’s blending plant in Antwerp (Belgium) is one of the largest and most advanced in Europe, following a 100$multi-million modernization programme that has doubled the plant’s capacity and created state-of-the-art facilities. In recent years toll blending has become a significant part of KPI’s business.
The parties agreed on scientific and technical cooperation in lubricant manufacture: Gazpromneft-Lubricants will have the granted access to KPI high-tech production facilities, located in Antwerp (Belgium), well-organized logistics system and the opportunity to use the deep industry expertise of the partner in the production of its own brand Gazpromneft and, prospectively, G-Energy and Gazpromneft Ocean products.

Gazpromneft-Lubricants (Gazpromneft-Lubricants Ltd.) is a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft focusing on the production and sales of oils, greases and technical fluids.
