Gazpromneft Lubricants is the first company to render bunkering service at the Sea Port of Primorsk. And the first ship to get the service has been tanker SEAHAKE filled with 15 tons of lubricants.
Ship lubrication services are commonly offered in Russian and foreign ports. The launch of Gazpromneft Lubricants’ bunkering terminal at Primorsk gives access to wider distribution channel in Russia and will boost the sales of marine oils.
“Gazpromneft Lubricants have been dealing with marine oils for almost two years. We supply our products to the largest ports of Russia, CIS and the Baltics. Primorsk is the key port in Northwest Russia. The fact that we have been the first company to initiate the service here is a milestone in the development of our marine lubricants business; the bunkering terminal at the Port of Primorsk will enhance our competitiveness across Russia and the world,” says Alexander Trukhan, General Director, Gazpromneft Lubricants.
Sea port of Primorsk is the largest port for export of oil and petroleum products in the North – West region of Russia. Primorsk is the final link in the Baltic Pipeline System and Sever oil product pipeline. It is an important link in transporting oil from the Timan-Pechora fields of Western Siberia and the Ural-Volga, as well as fuels of some refineries in Central Russia.
