Gazpromneft–Lubricants Ltd., a Gazpromneft subsidiary specializing in lubricants production and sales, has signed an agreement with the Interregional Association of Rally Raid Athletes that determines G-Energy motor oil premium brand as a title sponsor of the Rally Raid Russian Championship and the Rally Raid Russian Cup.
Gazpromneft–Lubricants Ltd. has undertaken this project within a national motorsport development program. Under the agreement, G-Energy will be considered the title sponsor for all competition events throughout 2014.
Alexander Trukhan, General Director of Gazpromneft-Lubricants Ltd., has noted that, "An essential component of the motorsport projects that Gazpromneft-Lubricants has been implementing since 2011 is testing of the G-Energy premium class oils in extreme conditions. The complex and versatile rally raid tracks are ideal for quality testing of our oils. Our sponsorship of Russian teams, who are competing in this discipline, which is relatively new for the country, will allow us to continue testing of the G-Energy products, one of the advantages of which is their unique adaptive technology."
The accessibility of rally raids both to professional pilots and beginners, as well as their audience appeal, has led to a high popularity and high demand for this type of competition. The best Russian and world athletes will be taking part in the Russian Championship and Russian Cup, which annually gather tens of thousands of spectators.
Technical partnership with the rally raid organizers provides prompt feedback on our products from professional athletes. The efficiency of such partnerships was proven during the sponsorship project for the G-Force Motorsport rally team at the 2013 World Cup. This partnership resulted in the creation of the G-Energy Racing oils for all types of racing and high-boosted engines. Further cooperation with racing professionals shall improve these oils intended for extreme conditions, increased load intensity and extended life.
The next Russian Championship and Russian Cup events will be held on the tracks of Crimea, Astrakhan region, as well as in Belarus and Latvia.
